Two Pentel fibre tip 'fountain' pens - they don't leak - but write nicely - blue and sepia - and a Kuro Toga mechanical pencil - Moleskine diary paired with a Calepino dot grid notebook.

Any research I've had to do - or essay writing - first draft anyway - has been in pencil - I can't think properly with ink. Cheers - I.

Forgot to mention - Snap! You'll see the Kuro Toga there. I also like the Pentel 120 A3 - the one in the pic has been going strong for 11 years so far. The pen is a Cross Click Slim. I don't know why I love Cross pens so much but they just seem to work well for me. The Click Slim is a really smooth note taker and sturdy.I love that pack!
My note taking is done with an A5 jotter - the current iteration is a Stormtrooper variant. Being primarily office based, I use an A3 blank pad to think things through. Used to get me funny looks but it works.

The pink rug in the background is a lovely feature of my new home office / children's play room.
The Kuru Toga is a genius invention - I have several of them - I prefer wood pencils but they aren't practical away from home - who wants to take a sharpener with them? Notebooks - for home use - there is only one - Rhodia A4 head stapled - superb paper - takes the ink lovely -Forgot to mention - Snap! You'll see the Kuro Toga there. She has lovely writing. Despite my tools, my handwriting is truly atrocious - I use fountain pens to slow my writing down and make it more legible. I've decided this poor handwriting is a sign of hyper intelligence though. The Kuru Toga is a genius invention - I have several of them - I prefer wood pencils but they aren't practical away from home - who wants to take a sharpener with them? Oh - the text - re-writing and editing an essay - hence the word count markings - my partner wrote as part of her 'Managing Childhood Trauma,' counselling course - yes - it is as heavy as it sounds - she writes beautifully - but unfortunately - as she speaks - the word count is just a serving suggestion to her - so - we have three thousand words - what is the limit? - 1500 - okay - lets see what we can do.
TWSBI fountain pen - yes - I know it is empty - purely for display purposes - much like razors - I only have one on the go at once - otherwise they dry up and are a pig to clean. My favourite is a Platinum 3776 Century music nib - it is unspeakably lovely to write with - but - at the price - so it should. I think there is a commonality with having too many razors and too many pens? Anybody else want to share some stationery porn? - I.
That's my handwriting. She has lovely writing.
Class - a design classic - are they comfortable to use? It kind of looks like the pocket clip would get in the way? - I.Pilot Capless
