if you had to choose one DE/SE/SR for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

I have two Golden 500's, but they are not identical if I recall. Appleby will probably be confused. I only have a photo of this...

I have a Golden 500 box the seller tried to tell me the razor was a Golden 500 just an hydro magic marked Eversharp rather than Schick, that's why he only got £12 for it off me, I do prefer the flat black handled ones though.

The majority of my Schicks have been mint, in sealed boxes. I am sure I had a Golden 500 case with possibly a normal Hydromatic in it. But it had never been opened, but Schick often utilised items across the ranges I believe. Or I just could be confused lol

Yeah that was me (good memory!), i did repaint a set of Red Tip's quite a few years ago now (Rocket, English Superspeed, US Superspeed), the rocket was my favourite of bunch.
Pictures, please. Red Rocket salivation begins!

And to think I had one and swapped it for a Schick G thing with ivory handle. Doh! Nice cases those things but mine is, alas, unhinged.

Carry on, chaps!

Am I remembering incorrectly or did you not rather like the Red Tip Rocket? Somebody around these parts restored the tip (ooer) with airfix/humbrol paint and baked it on. Many moons ago now. Was that you, sir? Or am I just as off my rocker as ever?
I got a Red Tip a while back that required a bit touching up. On the advice of one in here I used Humbrol Gloss 20. I didn’t bake it though; just let it dry until use. Turned out ok though…

That looks great :)

I used Humbrol 73 on mine with a gloss clear over the top, it wasn't a bad match for the paint that was on the Rocket.

There's an old pic in my gallery on B&B - Clicky
