I said I wouldn’t buy anything else this month!!

I'm expecting the Gillette Slim arriving in the next few days, will I be ok soaking it in Dettol (and water obviously), brushing down with an old tooth brush and dish soap, then a polish up using toothpaste?

I've done this on an old Valet Auto Strop and Wilkinson Sword and it worked wonders, not sure about the Gillette though?
