Trade agreements are in place for most goods so shouldn't attract any charges, or so I believe.Very odd. I hope you get your brush @Cristobal . I'm sure you can check the 'signed for' signature on the RM's website using the tracking number.
@Blademonkey Turkey is not part of the EU...yet.
Yeah. You?Trade agreements are in place for most goods so shouldn't attract any charges, or so I believe.
You good?
Indeed.Yes it is very much appreciated too when ordering supplies of Wholly Kaw and B&M

Ha Ha thanks mate. Bumping along with that too. Geez, trying to find a decent tradesman is like trying to have a good shave with a cart...difficult!Bumping along mate, I hope you are making progress with the house.
Ha, yeah, the good one's are always busy, a tradesmen who says yes I can come tomorrow is not a good one!Ha Ha thanks mate. Bumping along with that too. Geez, trying to find a decent tradesman is like trying to have a good shave with a cart...difficult!
No Turkey isn't a part of the EU but we have an agreement of free trade with them so we can trade between one another an there is no charge. I have been stung many times ordering from other places like the US and agree they are vampires they know we can't order from there including delivery for under £15. I have placed some orders from the US of £60 though and had no charge on it
when I ordered my wolf whiskers brush and went on the the Royal Mail site to track it I got the same thing saying delivered and started to get a bit worried but I gave it a few days first because I was expecting import fees before I received it, 2 or 3 days later I got a card through the door telling me to pay the fees before delivery so it could well be something similar but I don't know if they charge when importing from China
Yeh I think it depends what it is you are importing wether VAT is payable...I'm in no way an expert but personally I have never been charged anything when importing from thereThe agreement is a customs union, which means no import duty. VAT can still be charged, although no Turkish VAT or equivalent should be payable at source.
The brush has been delivered indeed!
