I like razors

You mean if I can get near the bathroom?
To answer your question, yes, I'll have a nice hot shower, lather up with ToBs lavender (I prefer almond but I'm out of it at the minute), new blade in the Slim adjustable, and a nice relaxing shave. The after shave or cologne will be a surprise. On big nights out I usually let her pick. That's always a winner because she has been consulted and therefore I get brownie points, and I'm happy too because I don't have anything in my collection that I don't like so she isn't able to pick out a duffer

When I read stuff like this it makes me thankful for my SWMBO - she hates shopping with a passion - especially for clothes and shoes for herself. When she needs something it takes me dragging her in to all the relevant emporia.

Fortunately we have been married long enough that we have passed the holding hands and doing everything together all of the time stage. When we go shopping we split up, her to the clothes shops me to the gadget/hi-fi/shaving gear shops and we arrange to meet up for lunch or a drink. Works very well for us

Good man that is exactly what I do. I do like that almond. Only ever had a sample but enjoyed it.

And one other thing - I always let her use the bathroom first, that way I don't get rushed!

I agree with audios prediction! Also regards 'what might happen', you are married....You'l get home, she'll say what a lovely evening, gosh I 'm tired and full up lets go to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. :roll:

All in jest

C
100% correct Zubar. Sad, but true

Oh I don't do this out of a sense of duty... this is to get it over with. Left to her own devices she'd look at clothes for 0.03s, get bored and look at books or something instead. Then I'd have to be dragged around all over again (since we live in Sticks Central and she doesn't drive, I get to be chauffeur - so when we go, we go and if that means a 263 hour epic round every clothes shop in the Central Belt, we do it until she's bloody well bought something)

@SirPrize & Audiolab

Much as I would like to point out to my wife the error of her ways she is right, even when she is wrong. I am quite happy to let her think what she will, and anyway I prefer eating my dinner to wearing it

There speaks a wise man...

Not wise Nikonos, just house trained
Mind you, after being married for 28 years I know (sort of) what I can get away with and what I can't

I think if I was married a thousand years I'd be no nearer knowing that! I had a look for some good quotes on marriage. This one is pretty good:

“I have learned that only two things are necessary to keep one's wife happy. First, let her think she's having her own way. And second, let her have it.” -Lyndon B. Johnson

There are lots more here, if you have a while to spare (or should you be tidying the loft or mowing the lawn or picking up your clothes?:
