You mean if I can get near the bathroom?Audiolab said:Yeah I can see it, you both get ready, get a taxi or train into town maybe 4 or 5 so she can wander around and you can go for a drink before dinner. You pass a C&E or other purveyor of shaving products and “nip in for a quick look†she really wanted to go to Frasers to look at shoes. You eventually get dragged out the shaving shop over to Frasers and think about if you should have bought the balm or not.
Eventually you get to eat and comment on the waiters terrible shave and how he must use an electric, “I mean look at the burn on his neckâ€Â
Only kidding around, am sure you will have a nice night, but have you got a “special shave†planned? If so then you are as sad as me, some nights when I know we are going out I think “What will I shave with?†and “What will I wear?†is secondary and decided 10 mins before leaving.

To answer your question, yes, I'll have a nice hot shower, lather up with ToBs lavender (I prefer almond but I'm out of it at the minute), new blade in the Slim adjustable, and a nice relaxing shave. The after shave or cologne will be a surprise. On big nights out I usually let her pick. That's always a winner because she has been consulted and therefore I get brownie points, and I'm happy too because I don't have anything in my collection that I don't like so she isn't able to pick out a duffer
And one other thing - I always let her use the bathroom first, that way I don't get rushed!Audiolab said:PaulH said:You mean if I can get near the bathroom?

Good man that is exactly what I do. I do like that almond. Only ever had a sample but enjoyed it.

When we go shopping we split up, her to the clothes shops me to the gadget/hi-fi/shaving gear shops and we arrange to meet up for lunch or a drink. Works very well for us

Much as I would like to point out to my wife the error of her ways she is right, even when she is wrong. I am quite happy to let her think what she will, and anyway I prefer eating my dinner to wearing it
