And no, I'm NOT bidding on it..

Not great marketing.

The fact that it has the box may make it interesting to some collectors I suppose.

It backfired on him as the last bid was for £36 and it STILL didn't meet the reserve.

If you want top dollar for a razor you really need to display it better than that, and a good case and sundries add a premium.

A highish reserve can also be counter productive, I think it just puts bidders off.

If the case and razor are as good as one might suspect they are, then it should have fetched $100/£60 quite easily.
