How do you dispose of used blades

Hi just wondered how you all go about disposing of your used blades, I tend to put them in a used tin can then put the lid back in ?

You can make or purchase a blade bank that will keep your used blades safe after you have finnished with them. ( and safe once you have thrown it in your rubbish bin)

Blade bank as above. I cut a slot in the lid of a syrup tin and then hammered it back on.

Found a money box for a quid at the poundshop, no opening unless you get a tin opener to it, so safe with the kid's.

I chuck my used blades in a cheap metal tin. When its full , do I just throw the entire tin into the bin? are there any extra safety measures that I should follow?

I put my spent blades in a Rockwell Razors Blade Bank, £4 from ShaveLounge, I had enough cashback that it was free so I added it to an order. Works well but can easily use an old tin as others suggest.

Have a Feather blade bank, managed to get it open when it was full and sealed them in a jiffy bag and put them in the bin. Still using the blade bank.

Started wetshaving on the 1st Nov '13 & secured the top on one of these - cut a slit in it......only about 50% full now. Not sure what I'd do when it's full. Hoping Brat'ford Council have sharps disposal at a local tip.

Using this one from Shaving Factory found on Amazon for 7£. Guess it will last minimum 5 years.

Hiya,

As a carryover habit from my childhood prestidigitation years I still keep 4-5 used DE blades under my tongue. It's just in case I even now might someday need some to perform with and they are no trouble carrying around in that made to order spot in my mouth.

Y'all have probably seen this illusion performed before, but few do it better than The Amazing Jonathan.

This should keep me going for a few years. It's a bit more presentable than the marmalade jar with a slit cut in the lid that I was using previously.

Aldi sell mints called Compliments which come in a small metal box with a clip seal lid. I've been storing blades since 2012 and still haven't filled one. i will recycle the sealed container when it finally fills!
