Household Accounts Programme

Does anyone use a simple programme for their household accounts? Just something to keep a record of bank and credit card payments really*. I could set something up on Excel I suppose but I'd rather use something a bit slicker. Any freeware out there? Thanks!! :geek:

I've used one I made using excel for years, its actually very straightforward, I can send you a basic copy if you wish with the columns and formulae already entered, send me your email address via PM if you'd like a copy :ugeek:

Don't think you'll find anything 'slicker' or more used friendly than a straightforward excel programme

what about the old Suffolk binary system then

1,2,3,4,5,6,7
left hand
1,2,3,4,5,6,7
right hand

Google documents has a family budget form that's worth a look.

Thanks Stevie, I'm not really after budgeting but I've just had a look at the various docs available and this looks good:
