Welcome Matt,

I bought my first sampler pack from Shave Lounge. Pretty good store with free shipping. One of my go to places now for ordering.

Another place is Razor Blades Club, though I have not tried them yet. They seem to have a massive selection of blades though.

Hello Matt,
let me start by saying the Muhle R89 is a superb choice. The R89, will reward you with some sublime shaves, once you've learnt your technique, find which blades are suited to your skin type, and trying out different soaps.
My two bob's worth of advice is don't expect too much too soon, 'ADD NO PRESSURE TO THE RAZOR', let the weight of the razor & blade do the work you just guide it, I've trained my mind to 'Shave the lather from my face, rather than the stubble',this has gave me wonderful results without causing irritation to my skin..Most of all enjoy your newly found DE shaving experience. I had a go with the Derby blade yesterday and either my skills are improving or the blade is much better for me than the one was supplied along with the razor.
