Hi all, I‘m Joe, 47, London UK.

Have always used mach3 style razors my whole life, dont ask me why but one week ago, decided I was fed up feeling stubble 5 mins after a shave and decided to see if I could try a DE shave without cutting my own throat :)
Wish I had done this 25 years ago!

I bought the following after a 3 hour research session.

FEATHER BLADE TIN DISPOSAL CASE
Clubman Styptic Pencil- Jumbo
Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm
Clear Confidence Co Synthetic Shaving Brush - Vegan-Friendly
Merkur 34C Heavy Duty Safety Razor
Arko Shaving Soap in Bowl 90g
Astra Razor Blades, Pack of 100
Proraso After Shave Refreshing

My mind is blown, one tiny nick, which the styptic took care of and just wow, not sure I'll ever shave my normal way again, unless in a mad hurry :)

Welcome Joe. I started younger than you. but also wish I'd discovered DE shaving much earlier than I had. Isn't it nice when a mundane task that most men just do becomes enjoyable.
It was worse than mundane for me, I actually hated it when my morning routine got the the gel and mach3 bit, albeit i could do it quickly I must of known something better was available, to be fair just the concept of a bit of me time, taking my time, seems great. Hoping to become accustomed to a better thing, a slower thing :)
