Help.

It didn't have any sugar in it and it was only a small amount, but surprising what it can screw up.
Had some goodish news today, the logic board is dead but the hard drive is accessible, the gent at the repairers is going to put it all on a flash drive for me for £70.00, a price worth paying in my opinion.
I am also claiming for a new one off the household insurance.

Rotten Apple!

Sometimes the repair cost means your actually cheaper to buy a new machine in the long run

Fluid and electronics are the biggest bill generators.

Any authorised repair centre will give you an X Month warranty in which time they really don't want to see you come back. Even though the fluid didn't actually break a component and a simple wipe and dry will do they can't 100% say that it won't balls up or cause a problem in that warranty period. So its better (for them) to get the punter to pay for all the possible damage as well as actual damage and then you won't spoil their immaculate 0 returns KPI
