Help in Restoring a Paddle Strop

Hi,

I got a R. Jung AG Heidelberg 4 sided paddle strop from ebay.

The leather does not have any cuts luckily. I would like to know the best way to use a 4 sided paddle strop and also the best way to restore the leather for best results.
