Hi. I've been de shaving for almost two years after many years of cartridges and canned goo. I have a drawer full of vintage Gillettes (Old, New sc, Techs, Super Speeds and Adjustables) from Canada, England, and USA.
I enjoy home shop machining and own two metal lathes, a South Bend 9A (9x36), and a Canadian made Moody (11x48).

My maternal grandparents (born circa 1880) emigrated from Shropshire.

I have made a few custom handles just for fun and posted them on Badger and Blade. Search "custom clone" and "custom clone #2 -the BFR" on that site. Both examples change a Futur clone to a bottom adjust, non-rotating handle. I will be making another one for a Chrismas present for my son. I'll post some pics here.☺
