One of my latest, and greatest restored Heljes came back from neil today:

It's amazingly beautiful!

Very very happy with it!

Neil estimates it late 1800 early 1900 (1883 at the earliest)

It is a lovely razor for sure, whether restored or unrestored. Historic and elegant.

I have talked with Mikael about this and we agreed that the design itself is early, but was carried on for quite a long time. On the frameback I have which is just like your one, but with the lists of awards etched on the blade, all we can tell for sure is that the blade could not be earlier than the date of the last award, but it could have been quite a bit more recent. Mikael has more experience with this style of razor than me, and he might know of more recent examples so that we could frame the blade within a certain time period.
