I started off using clippers but it got shorter and shorter and in the end it was easier to just shave it. It suits me, my wife likes it and I never have a bad hair day. Plus as I've got no hair left on top the only thing I could do with it is keep it short anyway, so it's not like by shaving I'm missing out on a range of available hairstyles.

I can get a super smooth finish every time with no irritation (multiple passes). One thing I have just recently noticed is that the blades do get very clogged very quickly if using in conjunction with shaving soap, so stick to shaving cream if possible.

Headblade + Sensor blades for me..

This might seem counterintuitive; I think having the monk look makes someone look older than their years.

I am considering getting another grade one after having a headful of sweat this afternoon. It would also be easier to apply sun protection.

The only real drawback to going bald is the attention to hats. I need a beanie in winter to keep it warm and a bandanna in summer to stop it getting burned.

I use a beanie or wool flat cap, if I am being brave a Panama in summer. Not all places are hat friendly. I am considering a Fisherman's or bucket hat.

I have loads of hats! Flat caps, trilby, cowboy hat with a feather in, make a statement! Tell the world 'I'm bald and beautiful but I look the nuts in a hat!!' A cane sets the look off nicely too.

Agreed..... along with the velour suit it's a great look, however misunderstandings may occur
