I accept that people can ask any price they wish for an item but if a member finds the said price laughable or offensive, why are they not permitted to comment?
When a poster asks over £100 for a tub of soap surely a few sarcastic comments are expected and good for the forums health.
I agree Kevin. We are, hopefully, a supportive community and it would be remiss of us not to prevent a fellow member from being stung.I accept that people can ask any price they wish for an item but if a member finds the said price laughable or offensive, why are they not permitted to comment?

Having a laugh and being able to share your opinion is good for both the forum and ones health. If you find price laughable, have a laugh and move on, will do both the forum and your health good.
What upset me was, I'd just got the OP (@Olie29) to admit "the price is irrelevant" and offered him £15 when my comments were removed for a second time.Spot on. I was just taking the pi** out of a pi** take sale
Very true Barry.I agree Kevin. We are, hopefully, a supportive community and it would be remiss of us not to prevent a fellow member from being stung.
Perhaps, but just having the right to reply (like across the street), would be a step in the right direction.Perhaps the rules need tweaking beyond the initial member period.
Are you just simple, the price is the price and it's not up for discussion, what I paid is irrelevant and discussing the price on my post is against the rules as it clearly says PM me, if you have something to say be a man and speak to me one on one instead of hanging about posting comments with your buddies on my thread coz that's just bullying to me...back in the school playground !Having a laugh and being able to share your opinion is good for both the forum and ones health.
