Good cheapish brush

Looking at putting a few things together for a mate for chrimbo..got everything except a brush.Nice gillette slim adjustable,mama bears soap,blade selection any ideas on a good cheap brush that will be good with the bear soap..many thanks Slash.

That's what I am using, though SWMBA is involved with improving that situation on Christmas morning.

I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems to do the job well enough.

Agreed. A tenner from Diamond Edge. Bought solely on recommendations on the internet.

Not used a 404 but they get good reviews. Maybe a boar. Omega boars are available cheap and are very well thought of.

If the budget is around a tenner, the 404 mix simply cannot be beaten for the money. Personally I think it's a better brush than the EJ BBB that is the brush of choice for newbs over at you=know-where (and that's twice the price)

The Frank Shaving brush might be worth a look, I think he may have a little more variety since Antdad done this review:

404 for the money, it's a no-brainer :|

For a tenner I've always used a Men-U or Omega boar brush and would stick with one of those.

Badger wise, the Frank Shaving brushes are very good at about the same price.
