So i've tried, sheep's milk soap by halsinger, the goats milk soap from the blue soap company in china and the WholyKaw donkey milk soap, and for me the jury is still out as to how much I actually got from them in skin conditioning from their milk content as opposed to the rest of the ingredients. I know they haven't caused me any issue but not knowing even the % of milk to the base soap makes me wonder is it just a bandwagon for some. Not saying all artisans are doing this but shaving soap is different from washing soap and it is one of those things thats transitioned over IMO.Goat's milk is all the rage right now and you can hardly swing a dead cat on many forums w/o hitting a thread about it. People sure do rave about its addition to soap. I have not used any soap with it (knowingly) and therefore have no opinion. I did however stumble into a couple interesting sites for those in Scotland & France. Might be "sleepers". You never know.

Mr Bigmen, the Wholly Kaw donkey milk soap has an incredible reputation in the USA from the reviews online. I have never used it so I don't know, but the praise is indeed undeniably overwhelming.
I agree the soap is good, however how much of that is down to the donkey milk? If I could compare like for like as in same soap base same scent just one with the milk and one without.Mr Bigmen, the Wholly Kaw donkey milk soap has an incredible reputation in the USA from the reviews online. It thought that I might take one for the team and purchase one of the Far North Soaps. The web shop seems to have no products and the site was last updated in May last. I have emailed to see if they are still in operation and will advise.
No reply to email. I reckon they have gone the way of all goats.....I tried it about four years ago. Absolute bobbins. You never know though, it might have improved ...
