Anyone use Gmail with filters & labels?
I'm struggling to get it to work how I want.
So I have a few filters set up:
Ebay, moved automatically to eBay label and skipped the Inbox
Yahoo, moved automatically to Yahoo label and skipped the Inbox
Sky, moved automatically to Sky label and skipped the Inbox
GMX, moved automatically to GMX label and skipped the Inbox
Paypal (with my gmail email address), moved automatically to Paypal label and skipped the Inbox
these all worked flawlessly until setup another Paypal account with my GMX address.
I set up another label so that any sent to GMX and contained Paypal were labelled GMX/Paypal and altered the Gmail/Paypal filter to filter so that any sent the Gmail and contained Paypal were labelled GMAIL/Paypal.
Make sense?
Now everything sent to GMX and Gmail just either stays in the Inbox or gets labelled Gmail or GMX, NOTHING gets the Paypal label!!
I deleted and recreated the labels/filters based on searches etc... Nothing is working so for.
Is this simply not possible? Am I expecting too much???
