Hi everyone,
I just received this nice little travel set and everything seems to have never been used, there's not a single hair in the bristles on the brush.
I have had a go at dating the Razor and I believe it to be from 1951 to 1956 but can't be too sure.
If anyone can confirm this or date it for me that would be awesome. 20210206_105203.jpg20210206_105306.jpg20210206_105509.jpg20210206_105529.jpg
Ps
Anyone Know what the Long chrome Tube is in the picture below the razor handle?
It has shaker holes in one end and a single small hole in the other so it's not a powder container.

The long tube is as far as I know for talcum powder and the smaller tubes are for soap sticks and travel brush.
A nice set! :)

Just make sure it's MAN TALC you put in there ...

Jade East (circa 1970s)

Definitely not baby talc or (shudder) woman talc!

"Man Talc" ... possibly the earliest sighting of placing the word "man" in front of something essentially un-manly, quite commonplace today: man bag, man bun, man-cealer. Funny that in the 1970s, the least manly thing a fellow might consider using was talc

Athletes foot powder is a perfectly manly use for the long tube! :)

The long tube may be for a toothbrush.
