Just picked up a 50ml of Gillette Storm Force Spicy after shave splash from Poundland for - would you believe - £1.

IMO this is a very pleasant fragrance, fine for every day wear and a bargain at this price.
I don't know if it's available at all branches, but if you have one near you its worth a look.
 
Poundlands are ace, my wife shudders when she sees me going into one. But I found Charles Worthington Results mens shower gel in my local one at a pound a bottle, and it used to be 4 quid in Waitrose. I cleared them out and I still have stock sat there in the bathroom 3 months later.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch... I've not tried this stuff but I used to use the "wild rain" aftershave splash after the gym years ago and it was surprisingly pleasant. And I had the Arctic Ice at one point too. They do cheap splashes quite well IMO, all things considered.
Not something I'd put on to go out (or even to work) but it's a good gym bag standby.
