Gillette Silver Blues

You're joking.....right?

Lay the blade with the glue spots uppermost. In a Rockwell 6S they won't touch the top cap at all, this may work in other razors, it certainly works with 6S - I've just completed a years shaving exclusivly with GSBs - no problem, no mess, no cleaning of blade.

It seems Gillete upgraded the glue splurger in their Russian plant when they moved to single wrappers and single sided lazer etching, my yellows are similarly liberaly coated in the stuff needing a little caution when unwrapping. I just put the blade in my razor and never worry about it. Doesn't impact the shave at all and gets washed off with use. The simple method as advocated by @Kingfish will see you right, there are more comprehensive ways of removing the glue dots but they are a bit over the top.
