Silver Blues are not only very sharp but also very smooth. It's the smoothness that makes a difference, as seen in a scanning electron microscope...
From all the scan pictures I've seen, it's no wonder that I prefer St.Petersburg's finest.
Gordy, from what I read photos such as these are meaningless as they tell us little or anything about the sputtering & coatings. It's like a B&W photo of a woman you've never met.
P.S. The Silver Blue is merely the old Russian (not the Indian) 7 O'clock Super Platinum 'reincarnated' according to the Gillette guy on another forum. It is a great blade, I agree.
What do you mean by "BAD"?I like the GSB, it works well in a range of razors.
I do prefer my PolSilver SI blades though.
I got into both when I had a major case of BAD and have close to 500 blades between the two types.......
How often do you shave?Great blades. They are smoother than my favourite Polsiver. In fact I keep switching between the two as my favourite. Polsilvers are cheaper but GSB has the edge purely because I seem to get up to 2 weeks shaves on one blade. They always impress me with their long performance.
+1 For Polsilvers...sweet blades indeed. If you haven't tried Polsilver Super Iridium, you should pick up a pack. Very smooth.
What do you mean by "BAD"?
