Gillette New - going rate?

I've been toying with the idea of trying an open comb razor and was thinking of a Gillette New. About how much should I expect to pay for a shaver grade one?

I reckon up to a tenner for a shaver grade one, more for less faults, box etc.

Unless I'm selling it, in which case shaver grade is £50 min

I've seen ball end NEW's go for less than a tenner and I paid about £25 for a shaver grade UK #77 set which is my favourite of all the NEW's I've tried.

Well I saw this on t'bay and thought I'll set up a snipe.....

Suffice to say my snipe was well, well below the selling price. Was there something special about that one?

At that price I'd rather buy a new Merkur 11c or or Muhle R41 which would at least come with a guarantee!

That's the two piece #77 set. Nicer shaver than the above IMO and it's already lasted nearly 70 years, what more could you want?
