Gillette flair tip any good?

The "Flare Tip" has the same gap (0.025") as the greatest razor ever made IMO: the Tech.

Don't have all three, so can't say otherwise, but I've read others say the gap is the same, it's the weight of the handle that makes them feel differently.

I feel that blade exposure is more important than gap anyway, the OLD and the Piccolo are my examples.

I have a Super Speed trio from 56 which consists of the Blue Tip, Flare Tip and Red Tip and can say that the Flare Tip is an exceptionally good shaver. It really comes down to your beard and how often you shave. I love the Red Tip which is a wonderfully efficient razor however, throw a Kai into that Blue Tip and that lightweight, mild razor becomes quite a close shaver. You got a wonderful razor enjoy!
