Are the blades as big as the packet?
If so what do they fit?

No, they're standard blades. The larger box is a natty sort of dispenser where the blades are staggered and you slide out a blade at a time, hence why it's a bit bigger than a cardboard package. You can also use it to dispose of old used blades, there is a special slot for them.

IMO, the pre-2000 Bleue Extras in the plastic dispenser are superb blades, smooth and sharp.

These particular Bleue Extra are nos. There are others still made and on sale in France in card dispensers but they're not as good

IMO, the current version (in the card tuck) is poor - I found them seriously rough. It's the NOS ones in the dispenser that I love.

I have found that the newer ones are not as good as those plastic dispensers ones.

I can't speak for the older ones but the new cardboard box Bleue Extras are mediocre IMO. The cardboard box ones can be found in any French supermarket, price about â‚¬ 1.60 for 10 blades.
