Gillette 7 O’clock Sharp Edge bearing ‘Dubai UAE’ on the back are much older and I believe they were also manufactured in Russia or the Czech Republic.
The current Gillette 7 O’clock Sharp Edge, like the Super Stainless , are intended for export to Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Gulf Countries and Yemen.
An analysis of the text on the packaging of the Gillette Silver Blue blades suggests they were designed for a broad distribution covering both Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
The simultaneous presence of English, Portuguese and Arabic suggests a single ‘export’ batch intended to cover markets and countries such as South Africa (ZA), Mozambique (MZ), Angola (AO) and Zimbabwe (ZW), extending geographically northwards to North Africa and the Gulf region.
