If you are anything like a lot of us here you will discover other blades that will be "the blade of all blades" it's all part of the fun of trying blades, razors, soaps and brushes, there is always a better blade just over the next hill! :cool:

I'm sure that will be the case. I thought the Astra was the one on Monday, but it certainly didn't feel as good as the Gillette :)
 
I have been an Astra fan boy for a while now but since they went back to the printed rather than etched i dont think they are as smooth. So i bought some of these platinum (etched) and they are now my favourite. Very smooth, sharp, no irritation. I use them in my AS-D2.
