My advice in short: Order some 2BA x 3/8" Stainless Steel grub screws from https://www.ba-bolts.co.uk/bagrubs.html
Or find them elsewhere.

Here's one of my 1912s with a stainless steel DE handle:

2BA x 3/8 stainless grub screws ordered. I always thought the handles on 1912/1914s were a bit too small. Not that I have big hands.
Just as I prefer a fat handled Tech over a slim handled Tech, personal preference.

I'm going for one of these:

You can make a decent copy of this with a compressor some copper pipe and marbles or ball bearings. I destroyed a 4 inch post with one. Destroyed it as it was deadly and probably broke every rule on air powered wepons.
Great fun though. And sounded brilliant. No I am not a terrorist, I just like tinkering.
