I'm still reluctant to use "industrial" or "scraper" blades on my precious face.
I'm more than happy with the stainless blades anyway.
I've tried carbon blades (GEM/PAL/Treet) and they are OK, but not worth the extra cost or hassle.
YMMV (Haven't used that one in a while)

I reckon after all this fuss I've been raising I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and stay with the coated blades. Easily sourced, nor badly priced...just not as good, for me, as the carbon jobbies

"For some reason, many of the SE blades say that they are for industrial use.
This is a photo from the Ted Pella website and it is meant for shaving. Here is another photo from which shows the writing. This is great for shaving."
Hi all, I got some GEM Carbon blades from tryablade but have no idea where to find them in bulk. I've emailed tryablade with no replies so thought I'd ask here. I'm in the UK and would, ideally, like to find a UK seller but dont know what part number I need to look for. TIA
