Thank you very much, PaulineI have placed my soap sample into my PIF to give someone else a chance to test and hopefully review it for you @p.105
I found it ticked all my boxes, easy to lather on all brush types.
The scent was great evening the wife thought it was a wonderful Bay Rum and I paticularly liked the slickness even after rinsing off to allow for a touch up here and there.
Lastly I enjoyed the post shave feeling, you did a fantastic job with your base and scent profile, very impressive.
I can't really add anything more that I have not already posted and I can't even offer any improvement because you nailed it for me, hence my decision to move it on.
I have placed an order on your site for the soap, aftershave and hand soap and it's winging it's way too me now and I look forward to trying one or two more of your offerings later on.
Thank you very much for the opportunity in testing, and I hope I gave you some constructive and more importantly useful feedback on both items.
Hi RoyHi guys, how does this soap do on sensitive skin? It sounds a nice soap.
Please don't take this the wrong way but did you mean to post here?View attachment 133169
A really nice shave from the unguarded version of these cheap Chinese Artist-style SE blades.
This particular blade won't fit in the Oren due to poor tolerances when making the blades, but it works well in the Excalibur head.
The Arko is an old one that I pressed into a ramekin years ago. It now has no remaining scent so can be used without requiring a nose peg.
Rating: 4.5 / 5
Razor: Yaqi Excalibur (Artist-style single edge blades)
Blade: Chinese Captain Pro Touch MG Blue (unguarded)
Brush: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Amber Aerolite Stygian Synthetic
Lather: Arko pressed into bowl, no scent remaining
Aftershave: Akcay Tobacco
No I didn't. I think it's because the last post is a review of the Bay Rum items but in the form of a SoTD post. Please don't take this the wrong way but did you mean to post here?
