Fountain pen help

I've not got much of a fountain pen fan. Being left handed I always ended up with smudged writing even using a left handed one. The kids took this one apart earlier and the part that the ink is sucked into was brittle and fell apart. Am I able to buy that part or is it destined for the bin. The make on the clip is Albany if that helps. No idea if (that's) a good brand or not.

Do you mean the ink sac? You can get a replacement at The Pendragons. Contact them if you're not sure which one you need.

There are lots of YouTube video tutorials on how to do it if you do a search

Thanks. I wasn't sure on the terminology. I had ink bladder in my mind

I assume the pen isn't really anything great worth saving?

Ink sacs only cost a few quid. I'm not familiar with Albany fountain pens, but it would be worth it IMO if there's any sentimental value attached to the pen and/or if you like tinkering with those types of things...

I used pendragons, got a couple of inksacs and some glue/varnish stuff to attach it for about £10... Similar fountain pen but with a twist action.
