I just read on the other place that Darron is planning a limited run of a couple of his classic scents: South Sea Spray and Imperial Tonic. You might recall those names from the Super Smooth soap line which preceded the 1912 range and some of us were lucky to bag a very early release of South Sea Spray in the 1912 range.
Very exciting!
Imperial Tonic was a clever blend of almond, lavender and aniseed (from memory) which sounds kinda awful, but it was more like an Angostura-loaded G&T.
South Sea Spray is an ozonic sea-splash and citrus. To me it smells like freshly laundered cotton billowing in the wind ... and very close match to vintage Rolls Razor soap.
I think there's a gap in the market for a return of Sheridan's or Dandyism! Remember those?
