Has anyone seen the TV series Fleabag?
It tells the tribulations of a young lady in her early thirties living in London and who has a pretty complicated love/sexual life as well as a complicated relationships with her siblings and her parents.
(neither big spoilers nor the best gags in the trailer)
I must say that I was pretty surprised, a bit gross and very explicit but quite good show overall. Moreover I thought it was an Amazon production, but it appears that it has been broadcast on BBC3 too.
It's a stunning show. Initially I was put off by the trailers for the show. All the talking to the camera stuff isn't funny and never works.
There was a thread on another forum I'm on and the posts were all positive. I thought I'd give it a go one Saturday morning.
I watched all the episodes in one go. I was left floored and an emotional wreck. It stayed with me for a long time too.
It's been advertised as a comedy but it's so much more than that.
It's up there as the best TV show of the year, along with Stranger Things.
In truth, at the end of the show I was wondering whether all English girls were like that, French girls are said to be or to play "bitchy", but man!...
