Just sounds like it's been dropped on one corner and the safety bar has been bent back.
If that is the case you could try this before going down the total disassembly route...
Drill a hole in a piece of wood large enough to allow the razor to drop through and be supported by the head.
Clamp the razor handle in a vice with the wood and razor head sitting on top of the jaws.
Obviously protect the razor handle by using cloth, tape, rubber jaws, carpet whatever.
Should be enough gap there to get some leverage between the wood and the safety bar to start easing it back.
Try and grip the main stem of the razor rather gripping the TTO and adjustment dial just in case.
I suppose something like a Workmate would do, thin wooden jaws.
