and I must say it went very well indeed!
Since starting DE shaving a year ago I have always face lathered using soaps.
Last week I bought a shaving mug from Connaught and today was my first go with it using a cream.
My cream of choice was the Body Shop Maca cream and I used a Frank Shaving short silver tip.
I was not sure what to expect when I put the little blob of cream in my mug, but it quickly transformed into lovely lather and gave plenty enough to allow me to have 3 passes this morning with my Slim adjustable. On reflection I think that there may have been a tad too much water in the brush as I prefer the lather a bit slicker, but I was very impressed and definitely something I will be doing again
