Hi Chaps
I mentioned previously that I haven't had a proper shave with a soap, due to the poor experience I had with the Gillette Blue Puck (or should that be puke...) and the mountain of creams I have. Anyway today, I had my first shave with Tabac Shaving Soap (Thanks Ollie) and it was awesome (sorry, I know that's a bit of an Americanism but I can't think of a better word to describe the shave I had). I was amazed how easy it was to get a great, slick lather and my shave was great and it was a tough test as I was using a red Persona, which is OK but isn't my blade of choice (just using up the packet).
All in all, I was very please with ease of lather production, quality of the lather and the great shave - also the wonderful aroma of Tabac. I am a convert to soaps after one shave and look forward to building a mountain of Soaps to compete with the creams.
If anybody out there is a soap virgin like I was, don't be afraid and make that leap into the world of soaps!!
Cheers Rousey
