Just had my first go today, only managed to cut myself twice (both under the nose area).

Really enjoyable shave and feels so much closer, actually looking forward to doing it again tomorrow.

Thanks for the you tube vid in regards to how to shave , very easy to follow and very helpfull.

Stick at it Midnight.....we've all had a cut or two along the way........Shaving with steel is a very enjoyable experience....the warm water.......the thick creamy lather on the brush..........Trying out all the "toys"..........

Its also very annoying...it must be one of the few "hobbies" that you can only do once a day........And to think I used to hate shaving..Ha Ha.
 
Shaving is like rowing.
You can learn the stroke in minutes but it takes a while to perfect!
What set up are you using?
Keep the faith.
Remember......
Use little or no pressure.
And just when you thought you were using no pressure.
Use less.
Like titanias faeries dancing on yer chops.
Well you know.
Light.
