I know there are a few FF guys active here so lets list our most useful addons. For me:

Adblock Plus : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 - Blocks the majority of annoying adverts embedded into websites
British English dictionary : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3366 - Spell checks your typing within Firefox and underlines mistakes.Right click on the mistake to get the correct spelling option (invaluable for forums)

Re: Firefo users post your top add ons

Nice one Boab, I use these myself. Have you had a look at NoScript? I'm not sure if it's a help or hinderance.

Adblock Plus
NoScript (at the kick off it's a bit of a pain, but slowly it vanishes into the background)
TACO (Targeted Advertising Cookie Optout) - opts you out of targeted adverts permanently
ReloadEvery (allows you to reload a page every <time period of your choice>)
IEView (for those pages that insist on poxy IE - obviously only works on Windows)
UserAgentSwitcher (allow your Firefox to pretend it is IE for those sites that actually work on Firefox, but insist on IE)
GMail Manager

Couple of others I am using :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410 Xmarks bookmarking add-on. Install it on all your computers to keep your bookmarks and (optionally) passwords backed up and synchronized
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6549 Surf Canyon.Improve relevancy by up to 40% on Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Lexis Web and Craigslist by automatically digging out information from as deep as page 100.

A couple of my current useful ones:

Tab Kit - allows better control and ease of use if you run lots of tabs
PDF download - allows you to select what happens if you open a pdf document online
Read it later - a quick way to store links for later without having to add them as favourites or paste links anywhere
Flasgot - link to the awesome Flashget download manager. Really useful if you download anything other than small files.

Another one to add if you have multiple PCs... Weave. Allows you to sync all your PCs so the same bookmarks, saved passwords etc are there.

PC? HM, you can sync with me anytime mate! ;)

Update:

Gone are: UserAgentSwitcher, Gmail Manager

In come:
Webmail Notifier
Weave
Ghostery - this one shows you the advertising networks that are collecting data from the site you're on (also allows you to block them)
Flagfox - tells you where the site is hosted by means of a flag in the address bar

I use All-in-one Sidebar - useful for quick access to downloads, add-ons, net options, history etc.
Undo closed tab - Awesome little add-on, ever closed a tab you didn't mean to, get it back by clicking on the icon.
Forecast Fox - Displays the forecast for however many days you want, day/night/day&night in any location you want around the world in the bottom status bar - can switch between profiles e.g. London, Paris, New York
FF Personas - to customise my profile
Fox Clocks - Displays times for around the world, useful as my Parents live in Singapore
Split Browser - Can display several tabs all in one window, useful for comparing sites etc.
Downnload Statusbar - displays downloads in better way than std FF - downlaods show in status bar instead of new window.
Stumble upon
Firshot - Lets you captrue images of a webpage and then save it, edit, etc.
