Finished.!!

Arianna & Evans Never Alone aftershave lotion. A big bottle full of fruity goodness.

Also 'finished' a razor cartridge handle. Started using my Wilkinson Sword FX Perfomer and FX Diamond blades again and the cartridges kept falling off after minimal pressure. Turns out one of the plastic clips in the handle has become worn over time and is very loose. Doesn't look like it'd be an easy fix so I may be listing my remaining FX and Performer cartridges on here for sale soon unless I can find a replacement handle.
 
Merkur 45c Bakelite is now "finished".
It fell from my bathroom man-binet into the sink and the threaded post has unstuck itself from the top cap.
I attempted to super-glue it back on but it presented the cap at a jaunty angle which I was not prepared to take the risk of shaving with. Thinking about it, any kind of angle except bob-on would leave the blade with a brutal disposition. So it's goodnight Vienna for this one.

I've used this razor more than 72 times since I bought it sometime before 2015. I did give very nice shaves and occasionally a few nicks when I applied too much pressure. As this razor is so light, it's very easy to forget it's a real safety razor and treat it like a cartridge razor. It can sting just like any safety razor if care is not taken.

It's a contradictory razor for me. Being so light you would think it idea as a travel razor for hand luggage but it's also a double-edge bladed razor so not worth the hassle of trying to pass it as hand luggage at an airport.

Would I buy it again? To be frank, probably not. It's light but can't travel and doesn't take kindly to knocks. Although I'd say any metal razor would not fare well being dropped into a sink.

If I dropped a metal razor into the sink, I'd be worried about the sink. It's happened with the bath.

That's not the type of Item I would've expected to see in this thread. Sorry to read it's bitten the dust.
