Feather DER-A or Parker Variant

Hi,

Is there anyone who uses both razors? I am considiring to buy an adjustable razor. I like the butterfly openning head of Feather but it is mostly plastic.

Parker Variant looks like a nice piece but it does not have the butterfly openning feature.

Is it purely for looks that you want the TTO (butterfly) function? There's other options for this such as the vintage Gillette adjustables, Rockwell Model T and the Yintal/Weishi adjustables.

In and around the £50 market for new adjustable razors the new Pearl one seems very highly rated.
