I have had four great shaves from mine. three with a Lab Blue and this morning with a feather. Only on the first setting and with two days growth this morning. After trying a feather blade a while go I didn't like them, but this morning has changed my mind.

Nice and comfy, great shave, couple of tiny weepers but that was more due to having a feather blade and first use with a Feather. Mind you it has put me back on to Feather blades. Head is slightly chunky especially under the nose.

I have yet to find an adjustable razor where I need more than 2 settings.
Switching is easier than turning on a scale which is only readable with reading-glasses, so in principle this design seems to be made for me :#)

I just bought this razor from Connaught's; they have it on sale for £28.80.

I must say it has surprised me how good a shave it gives. I found the mild setting gave a perfectly acceptable shave without being scary. The aggressive setting again definitely felt closer but not silly aggressive.
The handle is actually really well designed and gives good grip and balance for all shave angles.
I would say that the two settings are enough range for this razor. I think I'll use it for travelling. It's light enough to carry but does not feel cheap at all. Also, at this price it's not the end of the world if it goes missing.

Now that is interesting. I have never had any issues with SS but I do have a few brass and a bronze razor that I really like.
