Excellent choices. Regarding blades, I'd have a go with the ones you already have, and see how you like them. My own starting point would be to try first Feathers in the GC, and Astra in the 6S on one of the higher plates.Well RAD confirmed. Ordered a 6S and the Game Changer. Got 5% off so used the saving and booked next day delivery.
Blade recommendations please. At present I have Feather and Astra Superior Platinum's.
Cannot wait till they arrive. Got a nice package today, my Muhle grand R89 arrived. What's that about RAD?
Ferrum explained that affliction. Diagnosis? Yes I most definitely have RAD..RAD is Razor Acquisition Disorder
BST? Newby to shave speak. The nice thing about the 6S is you can find the right plate for you. I have a Rocca and really like it, but coming off a 23C you might be surprised by the more aggressive nature of the Rocca. Other razors I would suggest would be the Timeless in SS or Bronze. The Pils is an excellent razor. I've heard good things about the Tatara Masamune, (I've had one in delivery for damn near a month now). And look into some of the vintage stuff as well. Check out your BST. Good luck.
Trying not to get too hung up on the "aggressiveness" of a razor. I will just take my time. Cannot be anywhere near as scary as the first time I used a cheap straight. Slowly slowly keeps skin on the chin. The nice thing about the 6S is you can find the right plate for you. I need a bit time under my belt before I can indulge in the BST forum. I have quite a bit to get on with as I found a local small outlet. Couldn't help myself.Buy, Sell, Trade. You'll find it under "Shopping" in this forum.
