May I ask where you obtain your Punjana from? I love it .....but have to stock up when I visit family in N Ireland.About 2 years ago I started drinking loose tea only. I'm certainly no connoisseur but I do think loose tastes superior to bags. I mainly drink black teas such as Coop 99 and Punjana for everyday but Kenilworth Orange Pekoe is my favourite and reserved for when I'm feeling extravagant. I also like Jasmine, Green, Chai and Chamomile teas. I also think that what kind of water you have makes a big difference to taste. I suppose it's a case of finding a nice match for your water type.

Thanks for that....but I prefer the loose tea and my locals don't stock it. I will check out the web site!I've seen Punjana Tea Bags in Tesco and Coop, you can also order on their website Thompson's Tea where you can get the loose stuff.
Some of the brands you have all graciously recommended are not so readily available in the US, so I am curious of your thoughts on some I have seen here available locally and/or online. Any thoughts on the brands listed below (good/bad)? I do prefer a robust cup of tea.
Lyons
Ty-Phoo
Lifeboat
Tetley British Blend
Welsh Brew
Glengettie
Barry's Tea
Nambarrie
Clipper
