Fat February 2026

Awlright my Lanolin Lovelies?

This LEA trick stick leaves my skin feeling marvellous and makes a great lather. Probably my favorite stick tallow or not. Good enough to spritz five sprays of Quorum EdT in my left hand to use as AS. Quorum! Timelessly rapturous and rapturously timeless.

End of another week of Fat February which, for me, has been the first reformulation of Mitchell's which at the time felt a bit like a decaf version but with a little time and hindsight, it really is a sterling soap. It does bear more than a passing similarity with T&H at the time. Really enjoyed it!

Next week, I'm switching to a curious older version of Scottish Fine Soaps ... which, from what I can gather, is their formulation from the 2000s, possibly older.

Soap - MWF vegan #1
Brush - Zenith 2006
Razor - Thin Handle Tech
Blade - Schick (5)
AS - Hattric Classic

Like @pjgh I've been really impressed with the first reformulation of MWF and I'll be using rotating this with the tallow MWF for the rest of the month, probably with a limited outings for a few other lanolin soaps. Paul sent me a sample of this soap, there's probably enough for about another 20 odd shaves so it should see me through for a few weeks at least.
