Another newbie here,

37 years old and I have just moved to DE shaving in an effort to keep my stubble under control. During the week I am out of the house by 7am, in my old life as a fixed cartridge wet shaver I usually had a 5 o clock by lunch time.

On a whim I picked up a parker knightsbridge and I am pretty happy so far. Working on getting my technique good before I make any changes...

That rather went boobies up, an eagerly awaited batch of a new beer recipe, (the other hobby), reached the one month mature mark last night. Mrs Pirate took an early night, beer was sampled, school night so just a couple of halves. My wallet got itchy and... forced myself to keep away from buying razors and blades but.... two new Nanny's soaps enroute and a selection of those little bottles of witch hazel.
