Frank made this custom Ethos Grooming EdP for me after discussions of blending, balance, and what I like. It's a marvelous concoction, one of my favorites. The mandarin top note is clean, dry, green, a bit fruity and succulent, and very vibrant and uplifting. Balancing this perfectly is the base note of Mysore sandalwood: warm, soft, earthy, fresh, and somewhat sweet. It might seem an unlikely combination, but together they form an overall full-bodied, musky impression, almost floral or Oriental. The composition is rich, full of life, and at once invigorating and calming. I love it.
I have somewhat sensitive skin that does not tolerate many scent products, but it does fine with the pure essential oils that are used in Ethos products.
