Thanks for the review and warning! G&C has great service, but sometimes on the packing end they can be spotty.
Still they are my go to place for Spanish AS.

I've still got 1 1/2 bottles of Floid Blue, but happy to hear there is a contender out there!

I have since read on a Spanish forum that nearly every bottle delivered has leaked due to a design fault with the cap. G&C are aware and have found a temporary fix for those in stock and are currently evaluating different caps for use with the next batch which is due in 2 weeks.

My bottle should be here midweek, hopefully it doesnt leak too much

I read on the Spanish forum G&C have unofficially announced that a 100ml version will also be produced as this one has been such a success.

Okay, I have it

Keep in mind I've never tried Floid Blue so had no idea what to expect other than "legendary" ...To me it smells like a mixture between baby powder and washing up liquid, I know that sounds awful but its actually pleasant and smells really clean.

Clean is definitely a good description. I also get baby powder. And ocean freshness.

Just used it for the first time and you're right, once applied it becomes more oceanic with citrus... And that menthol blast I wasn't expecting it!

Yes, there's a hint of menthol (after all, it's Floid-like..).

Nothing like Fine's Snake Bite though...

if you really want menthol cooling, try Vifrex Dopo Barba. Connaughts shaving used to sell it. It is an aftershave gel and it is simply wonderful, the 444 gel is no where near it.

Yes it is, I love it. Some people think that 444 is a cheaper option but I think Vifrex is much better and when it dries, leaves a wonderful scent which lasts good 1 hour on my skin.

Just got some of this.

The bottle is crap!

Reckon I lost 50 ml out of the 500 ml.

The 100 ml looks more secure.

I currently have some floid blue to compare it to epsilon has more menthol & it is close but not a perfect match.

A better match than Aqua velva Ice blue though (European version)
