Brace yourself – it's about to erupt! This explosively high-caffeine coffee has been forged in the fires of an extra-dark roast, releasing powerful flavours of smoke and black pepper. When you're flagging, it's dynamite.

My morning brew, now ...

Must of the smokiness (and caffeine, I guess) comes from the robusta, which is in there in what I would imagine is a substantial ratio. I happen to like robusta. Like drinking ashtrays? My usual brew is Lavazza Crema Gusto, which is something like 70% robusta.

Any other fans?

I haven't ...

My method is a Hario coffee dripper and filter papers. Chuck the drained (and mostly dry) filter in the kitchen bin. No grounds to wash out of a French press and/or down the sink, which is often banned by workplaces. Coffee drippers are fine.

My general GOTOs are Taylor's Lazy Sunday (filter) or the Tassimo Costa Americano or Espresso. All pretty decent for ready-made ...
I should(n't) perhaps add that they're generally accompanied by the odd roll-up, for extra smokiness ;)
