Cheers. Anyone else? Nice razor and all....Passaround razor now mailed to Les.
Yes they are and I am gradually getting used to this too. I find a three pass shave on setting 4 is more than enough for my face and setting it at 5 is enough for a one downward pass on my neck to avoid irritation. This is using the Schick blade. Is this blade better than the Personnas do you reckon? It seems they are only available from US Amazon now: the schicks that is.
Not anymore.I think connaught carries them

Not anymore.
You can.Can I put my name down?
Not sure. Note that Paul said he can't supply them, not that he doesn't want to. I can't believe that ↪Feather FHS blades are a bestseller and they are still available.Too bad ! I guess they did not sell well enough
No sorry, I can't supply these going forward.
If you want assertive get an E2, or down a notch the PAL Injecto-matic. If it's efficiency you want an I1 with Twins is also a winner.I've used the razor a few times now, and here are some thoughts. It's the first time I've used any kind of SE razor, let alone an injector, so was concerned about whether there would be a learning curve. Not so - it's a very intuitive razor to use; I got the angles straight away, and it's much more manoeuvrable than a DE with the slimmer head. I found it helped to put a bit of pressure on the razor head, as that felt necessary for such a lightweight razor.
The main issue for me is the closeness of the shave. The first was at just under 4 and was extremely smooth, but by the evening I had to shave again - something I very rarely do. I've since been using it on max and the shaves are OK, but not stellar. I'd put it on or just above the same level as my SuperSpeeds, which are my mildest DEs, but below my preferred open combs such as the Fatip Piccolo. In fairness, I should say that it performs better than all my razors in dealing with the bit right under the jawline where the hairs are the toughest and hardest to reach properly! So while it may not be my go-to razor, it could be ideal for touch-ups in difficult areas such as this.
This leaves me with one question: how mild/assertive are the non-adjustable injectors? I might be tempted to look for one if some of the models are towards the assertive end of the spectrum, but not if they're regarded as mild shavers.
Anyway, @riverrun and @Steve Bowles , thank you for your generosity and giving me the opportunity to have a try with the razor. Please advise what you would like to do next, as I don't see anyone else on the list. I can clean it up and hang on to it to forward when someone else wants a go, or return it to you. If the latter, PM me an address and I'll get it on its way.
Thanks again!
+1 for the E2, as assertive as they get!If you want assertive get an E2, or down a notch the PAL Injecto-matic. If it's efficiency you want an I1 with Twins is also a winner.
